Author's Biography
C.J. Caughman is an author from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who has been obsessed with storytelling since childhood. As an avid consumer of books, movies, and television, it took him a long time to realize crafting narratives was his passion. He began cultivating his enthusiasm for writing at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he graduated with a degree in English-Creative Writing. In college, he focused on writing short stories, screenplays, and eventually novels. Several of his short stories went on to receive publication in various literary magazines. C.J. was a quarterfinalist in the 2019 Final Draft Big Break Contest and is a proud member of the Cherokee Nation Tribe and their Cherokee Nation Film Office. Currently, he is an elementary English teacher in his hometown of Coweta, Oklahoma.
