Serves as a guiding light!

She offers a hand to those who may be trapped in similar situations. Her openness in discussing her path to healing and self-discovery is an invaluable resource for anyone seeking a way out of an abusive relationship or wanting to help a loved one do the same. It reinforces the message that asking for help is an act of courage, not weakness. This is just not a personal story. It’s definitely a hope and testament for human capacity. The book is truly remarkable. I finished reading this from front to back in three days. It’s both heartwarming and heart wrenching. I love you my friend and thank you for sharing this with us!

Inspiring!

Much gratitude to this author for being brave enough to share her very personal story in an effort to help others who may be struggling in a similar situation.

It is not easy to share these intimate details about one's life but Teresa has done so in a very moving and powerful way.

Truly an inspiration to us all who find ourselves in difficult circumstances and then choose to journey down a new path.

Empowering

Hearing about the experience of a DV survivor is one thing. But reading a personal experience from a DV survivor who is also your friend or loved one is a whole other level! This book is a great read and pulls real emotions out of you. Reading the experience made you wish you were there to save Teresa. It’s also a guide to see signs of DV and how you can help someone who may be in a DV situation. Thank you, Teresa, for sharing your experience and having the courage and strength to publish your memoir! Much respect to you!
