Growing up in Canada, I developed an early fascination with the universe and technology, heavily influenced by Star Trek and the rise of personal computers. That passion led me to pursue bachelor’s degrees in physics and computer science, blending analytical logic with a lifelong love of dark fantasy and sci-fi.

I write stories to craft the exact experiences I look for as a reader: a brief escape from our tumultuous world, and a reflection on where it might take us. Whether I am writing about the cursed artifacts and shattered remnants of a dark fantasy world in Necrocracy, or exploring themes of artificial intelligence and survival in near-future sci-fi like Veil of Dawn’s Promise, I leverage my technical background to ground the fantastic in reality.

When I’m not reading or writing, you can usually find me in the middle of a heavy training split, or out searching for the perfect cup of coffee while I plot my next narrative escape.
