Carlo F. Sente was born in Luxembourg in 1957 and grew up in an Anglo-American neighborhood. At the age of sixteen, he was awarded a French Embassy Literature Prize. After attending college and Luxembourg Art School, he worked as an art and antiques expert, as well as a consultant for historic architecture renovation. Sente wrote non-fiction articles and books for museums and other cultural institutions before publishing his first historical fiction novel in 2017.
